Retail Refrigeration Direct is a UK e-commerce business supplying commercial refrigeration equipment. By placing an order through our website you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Submitting an order through our checkout constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when payment is successfully processed via Stripe and you receive an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.
All prices displayed on the website are exclusive of VAT. 20% UK VAT is applied at checkout and shown clearly before payment. A full VAT breakdown is provided automatically on payment confirmation. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time without prior notice; however, the price applicable to your order is fixed at the time of checkout.
Orders are fulfilled and shipped directly to you. We aim to process your order on the same business day that payment is received. Delivery lead times are typically 3–7 business days for in-stock items, though we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates as shipping is managed by our carriers.
Delivery is to UK mainland addresses only. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or circumstances beyond our control.
Product availability is sourced from our live data feed and is updated regularly. In the unlikely event that a product is unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you promptly to arrange a full refund or alternative.
Please see our Returns Policy for full details. As we operate as a drop-ship distributor, returns are subject to our suppliers' returns process. We will facilitate this on your behalf.
If you are a consumer (purchasing for personal, not business, use), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 without giving any reason. Contact us at hello@retailrefrigerationdirect.co.uk to exercise this right. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is faulty.
All products are supplied with the manufacturer's standard warranty. Warranty claims are handled directly with the manufacturer or their authorised service network. Please retain your order confirmation (with VAT breakdown) as proof of purchase.
Our liability to you for any loss or damage arising from the use of this website or products purchased through it is limited to the purchase price of the relevant order. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
